A lens on our lives: a women's group participatory film in rural Nepal
28 July 2011
Women's groups in rural Makwanpur District have been working to improve maternal and newborn health in their local areas with the support of MIRA and Dr Jo Morrison from CIHD. One of these groups selected four women's group members to receive training on how to plan and shoot a film about their experience of being in a women's group. This is their film...
A 'making of' film was also produced to show how and why the participatory film was made.
For further information about our work in Makwanpur please see our Makwanpur Trial Information Sheet.
