Dr Cristina Renzi wins BMA foundation for medical research grant

Dr Cristina Renzi (UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care) has been awarded the prestigious British Medical Association (BMA) TP Gunton grant for research into public health relating to cancer. Dr Renzi's research has contributed to a better understanding of factors influencing timely cancer diagnosis, highlighting the importance of ongoing vigilance by both patients and doctors after negative (‘false-alarm’) findings.
