Leonard Cheshire project 'Bridging the Gap' publishes policy reports

As part of the four year ESRC-funded research Project '

ucl.ac.uk/leonard-cheshire-research/research/active-research-programmes/esrc-bridging-the-gap">Bridging the Gap: Examining Disability and Development in Four African Countries', the Leonard Cheshire Disability Research Centre has published a series of reports analysing the state of disability policy in Zambia, Kenya and Uganda, as well as pan-continentally.

A key component of this project is global North-South collaborative research, which focuses on investigating the ways in which people with disabilities are left behind as their nation develops. Individual country reports have been written by partnered academics at national universities, and local disabled people's organisations.
