Athena Swan Silver Award Success
1 May 2014
Our Athena SWAN Self Assessment Team (SAT) have been working extremely hard over the past 18 months on both our award application and on developing a programme of SWAN related initiatives. We are therefore delighted to be able to report that the Institute has been successful in obtaining a Silver Athena SWAN award in recognition of its commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment in academia . Congratulations and thanks to all those involved in this fantastic effort (including our SAT leads Henry Potts and Terri Charrier).
If you are interested in finding out more about this or are interested in getting involved then please visit http://www.ucl.ac.uk/iehc/athenaswan or contact Terri Charrier (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information.
