Dr Webb is PI of an ESRC Secondary Data Analysis Initiative grant to investigate the life course causes and consequences of being an informal carer, using data from the National Child Development Study (1958 birth cohort) and the Understanding Society, the UK Household Longitudinal Study (UKHLS).
Dr Webb also uses UKHLS data in a research project she leads investigating the interrelationships the health and well-being of of parents and children within the ESRC International Centre for Lifecourse Studies in Society and Health (ICLS).
Dr Webb continues her research into the life course influences on health and well-being at older ages using the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA). A further strand of research concerns use of active transport and the public health impacts of this, using various data sources including the National Transport Survey and ELSA.
