Aetiological Investigations for Hearing Loss in Children

9 - 10 October 2017
Aetiological Investigation of the babies identified by the Newborn Hearing Screening Program and diagnosed to have a hearing loss (from mild to profound), also covering investigation of older children, unilateral and progressive hearing loss & Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder.

Update in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

The purpose of this annual course is to provide an update on current practice in paediatric respiratory medicine on an everyday basis. The programme and range of issues covered will be suitable for everyone concerned with paediatric respiratory medicine. The Paediatric Gastroenterology Study Day for Nurses

We are delighted to announce we will be hosting our second Paediatric Gastroenterology Nurses Study Day at the Royal College of Nursing, London. This day is aimed at Paediatric Nurses in Primary and Secondary Care, as well as providing an update for those working in specialised Gastroenterology areas.

Nephrology Day for General Paediatricians

This one day course aims to give a full overview of paediatric nephrology by selecting different themes each year and presenting them in a way which will be suitable for general paediatricians.

Paediatric ECG course

25 November 2017
This course  is designed to cover all areas of performing and interpreting ECGs in the paediatric population.  As well as identifying differences between the normal adult ECG and the normal paediatric ECG, there will also be insight into what to expect to find on ECGs in patients with congenital heart disease, inherited cardiovascular conditions, and post-surgical intervention.  Expert speakers will be a combination of physiologists, cardiac morphologists and cardiologists.  

Practical Paediatric Neuroimaging Course

6 December 2017
This course will appeal to all radiologists (consultants and trainees), radiographers and clinicians interested in paediatric neuroimaging. The content covers the breadth of day to day paediatric neuroradiology practice and aims to equip the practitioner with key image interpretation skills, focussing on diagnostic pearls and pitfalls one commonly encounters in paediatrics.

Neonatal and Paediatric Ventilation

7 - 8 December 2017
This popular course combines lectures with practical workshop sessions. The programme covers all aspects of conventional ventilation as well as High Frequency Oscillation, ECMO, transport and paediatric ventilation scenarios.

Paediatric Palliative Care

22 - 26 January 2018
Presentations and workshops will be conducted over the week by specialist clinicians and academics from the Louis Dundas Centre for Children’s Palliative Care. The Louis Dundas Centre is an integrated programme of research and clinicial practice. 

7th UK Swallowing Research Group Conference

1 - 2 February 2018
This conference will be of interest to all health care professionals with an interest in swallowing and feeding management in adults and paediatrics and will cover topics from a wide range of disciplines, with state of the art seminars delivered by leaders in the field of dysphagia.

4th European Transoesophageal Echocardiography Course on Congenital Heart Disease

8 - 9 March 2018
This is the fourth dedicated course on transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) on congenital heart disease providing the participant with the essential theoretical basics, morphological aspects of common lesions in congenital heart disease as well as practical aspects of TOE in children and adults with congenital heart disease.

British Paediatric Otolaryngology Course
