UCL Medical Illustration Services

About our department

Medical Illustration Services provide high quality clinical and general photography, design, video and print services to UCL, Great Ormond Street Hospital, other associated Trusts and external clients.

This award-winning unit has professionally qualified staff that produce a wide variety of work including:

• medical, ophthalmic and general photography
• graphic design and illustration
• website design and build
• mobile app design and build
• information podcasts/webcasts
• DVD production
• large format poster design and production

There are two units, South based in Great Ormond Street Hospital and North based in Royal Free Hospital, which are easily accessible by bus, tube or road. Both departments are modern and spacious, and boast the latest in digital technology.
