The Institute of Child Health offers laboratory services to researchers based both inside and outside the organisation. As a centre of excellence for

Academic laboratory services

Confocal microscopy core facility The Confocal Microscopy Core Facility at UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) provides state of the art instrumentation and expertise for imaging	Embryonic stem cell / Chimera production facility The ICH ES/Chimera Production Facility provides a customised knock-out and knock-in service.
Flow cytometry core facility The Flow Cytometry Core Facility at UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) provides state of the art instrumentation and expertise for cell analysis and cell sorting.	Mass spectrometry The biological mass spectrometry centre is dedicated to developing rapid, sensitive methods to study, diagnose and monitor the treatment of patients from GOSH and the Institute of Neurology.
UCL Genomics The ICH Microarray Centre is now part of UCL Genomics which provides quality access to both technology and expertise in high throughput DNA and RNA applications	GOSgene GOSgene aims to identify novel gene defects in patients and families with inherited disorders using cutting-edge technologies including linkage analysis and next generation sequencing.
