Welcome to PPP Research & Teaching Department. Our strategic aim of world class population level and clinical research cuts across the whole department. PPP is grouped into three sections: Clinical Epidemiology, Nutrition and Biostatistics (CENB), Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Palliative Care and Paediatrics (CHAMPP) and Life Course Epidemiology and Biostatistics (LCEB), in which researchers with similar interests are placed together.

Best Wishes

LCEB: Life Course Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Professor Jugnoo Rahi

Head of LCEB

j.rahi@ucl.ac.uk

Our research and teaching interests include life-course research and the use of cohort studies. We explore how biological, behavioural and psychosocial processes operate across an individual's life course or across generations to influence growth and development and disease risk.

We aim to influence policy and practice to reduce health inequalities, as well as improving the health and wellbeing of the population overall.
