John Lipscombe Memorial Travel Awards 2016
Infection, Immunity and Inflammation Programme

The John Lipscombe Memorial Travel Awards for travel undertaken in 2016 have been made to the following recipients:
(1) Hannah Lom of the Infection, Inflammation and Rheumatology Section, who attended the British Society for Immunology (BSI) Congress 2016 in Liverpool.
(2) Diana Yanez Marcayata of the Immunobiology Section, who attended the CSH Asia 2016 Frontiers of Immunology in Health & Disease in Japan.
(3) Marta Barisa of the Infection, Inflammation and Rheumatology and the Molecular and Cellular Immunology Sections, who attended the 10th European Mucosal Immunology Group Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, in October 2016.
(4) Anne Marijn Kramer of Molecular and Cellular Immunology Section, who attended the American Society of Hematology annual meeting in San Diego, USA in December 2016.
These awards, each worth £250, are used to reimburse the ICH Travel Fund and are named after the late father of Richard Lipscombe who completed a PhD at the Institute of Child Health in 1995.
We congratulate the recipients and gratefully acknowledge the generosity of the Lipscombe family in creating and perpetuating these awards.
