and for undergraduates and intercalated medical students working on honours projects. The Neural Development Unit periodically has vacancies for PhD students and research assistants to work on various aspects of The Unit's research.
Clinicians wishing to obtain experience of laboratory research in an area of considerable medical relevance are also encouraged to apply. The Unit offers opportunities to learn state-of-the-art approaches in molecular genetics, cell and molecular developmental biology, and transgenic technologies.
