Masters in Paediatrics & Child Health (MSc/PG Dip/PGCert)
The centre runs a masters course in community child health. It is one of three possible pathways in the ICH Masters in Paediatrics and Child Health which is open to doctors training as paediatricians as well as other child health professionals. It is also possible to take a Postgraduate Certificate or Post Graduate Diploma.
Dr Helen Bedford and Dr Paul Winyard are the directors of the ICH masters programme. Other centre staff contribute to teaching modules in epidemiology, biostatistics and child public and community health.
Community Child Health or Advanced Paediatrics
The MSc in Paediatrics and Child Health has three pathways students can follow: one leads to an MSc in Community Child Health, Advanced Paediatrics or Gastroenterology.
The course has shared core modules, but a variety of optional modules offer students flexibility in focusing their qualification on areas that interest them. Students can also choose to take individual modules for CPD.
