MRC Centre of Epidemiology for Child Health
Our programme of statistical research is an essential part of the work we do in the centre. Our statisticians are at the forefront of developing new statistical methods, particularly relevant to data that relate to life course research on the childhood origins of adult disease and factors that influence growth and development.
We have 18 statisticians whose roles are very varied, ranging from research embedded in particular epidemiological topic areas, through to teaching and statistical support. The result is a vibrant mix of statistical expertise.
