Before commencement of my PhD, I completed my MSc Global Health in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. For my dissertation, I travelled to South Africa where I examined the diet diversity of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) in selected townships. I obtained my BSc in Nutritional Science from University College Cork. My final project was entitled ‘Effects of vitamin D and Probiotic Supplementation on Vitamin D status of the Irish Adult Population’.
