The British Association of Near Eastern Archaeology is hosting a conference on the 3-5th January 2013 in Cambridge with "Metals and Colours" as the main theme.
While this conference is typically attended by Near Eastern archaeologists rather than archaeometallurgists, it should be of great interest to anyone working on metals in that part of the world. The conference will include a keynote lecture in the evening of the 3rd of January, a full program of papers divided in several sessions on the 4th and 5th, as well as a series of workshops on various Near Eastern topics.
The call for abstracts of up to 250 words has recently gone out with a request for oral presentations, posters, and workshops. These should be submitted to the organizers by the 13th of November 2012.
Full details can be found in BANEA's 2013 conference call for papers.
