Salary will not calculate a point rate on the Grade tab or through the payroll.
Position status = I
For any member of staff who is to be appointed on a spinal salary point with an FTE, the position status must be at least part-time, even where the working pattern is irregular.
An employee number is showing 'Restricted Access'
Restricted access occurs for a number of reasons. Refer to the 'Restricted Access' procedure for further information.
When re-activating a previous employee as a rejoiner, the tax history has been hidden away. How can this be reworked?
This problem occurs when the end date on the 'Employment Details' screen has been removed manually. To correct this action follow the Reworking Record Procedure.
The following error message occurs when trying to process a rejoiner "Error - Cannot process rejoiner until P45 has been EDI'd"
To be able to continue this process, the record needs to be actioned by payroll and pension services.
The FTE will not calculate correctly although the hours are correct?
Check that the grade and service condition on the post is the same as that of the "Post Holding". Where the grade and service condition are incorrect on the post, the FTE will calculate incorrectly. Arrange for payroll to update this information.
