Strategic Financial Planning and Budgeting

Participants:
This course is for you if you are grade 8-10 with significant leadership or management responsibility.

Pre-requisites:
None

Overview:
We will discuss the current UCL financial position and the longer term view.

We will not be looking at detailed budgeting and forecasting, but at how we assess our financial position over the next five years and what we can do to influence the longer term outcome.

Anticipated learning outcomes:
By the end of this session, you will have a fuller understanding of:

UCL’s long term financial position
How we can influence UCL’s financial future

UCL management competencies addressed:

Acquires and manages budgets and other resources effectively
Manages project and other workloads to meet timescales, budgets and deliverables.
