Overview:
Welcome to UCL: one of the top three universities in Europe.
Professor Malcolm Grant personally welcomes all new staff to London's Global
University through a termly event hosted by Organisation and Staff Development
(OSD).
Each Provost Welcome takes about two hours and includes both personal presentations and video footage from the Provost and other Senior Staff at UCL. Following the formal presentations, a 'marketplace' takes place where you will be able to browse stands and ask questions of key staff to find out about the support and benefits available to all UCL employees.
Anticipated learning outcomes: By the end of this session, you will have a fuller understanding of the staff benefits and services that are offered to UCL staff and how you can access and make best use of them.

Information Services Divisions (ISD)
E-Learning Environments (ELE) team enhances and supports teaching, learning and assessment across all disciplines via the use of technologies such as Moodle, Turnitin and Lecturecast.
Creative Media Services team creates and produces imagery and video, design and print which includes large format printing and a digitisation service.
Web & Mobile Services (WAMS) team designs, supports and enhances websites at UCL using the central CMS 'Silva'.
Research IT Services (RITS) department develops, delivers and operates services to assist UCL researchers in meeting their objectives at each stage of the research lifecycle, including: High Performance Computing, software development, research data storage and management, and research information and publication services.
Common Shared IT Services – includes services such as Networks and Data Centre Services plus common shared applications and services such as the Service Desk, training, email, desktop and print.
Joint UCLH/UCL/RFH Biomedical Research Unit: The Joint
Research Office offers a wide range of services to support UCL staff, in setting

UCL Museums and Public Engagement UCL's outstanding collections
cover a wide variety of disciplines, reflecting the range of the university's
academic work. Three collections - the Petrie Museum, the Grant Museum and
