Giving Presentations

Participants:
This course is open to all staff

Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this series of events.

Overview:
The ability to present confidently is crucial in all roles, and particularly in research. Working from the premise that 'the best presenters speak honestly and as themselves' this workshop explores practical ways for researchers to analyse and develop an individual presentation style.
Participants are asked to prepare a 4 minute presentation for this workshop.

Preparation:
Participants are asked to prepare a 4 minute spoken presentation. Please note that this may be on any subject and may be presented with or without a PowerPoint presentation. If you do wish to bring along a PowerPoint presentation please bring this on a USB stick.
