UCL's HR policies and procedures serve to regulate the working lives of all of its members of staff. They provide guidance and direction on important work related matters. UCL managers are expected to use them as appropriate and to seek guidance whenever necessary. Key policies which support the work of OSD are on Equality and Diversity, and Appraisal. In addition UCL managers are expected to be fully conversant with UCL Management Competencies applicable for grade 10 staff.
