The rooms are located on the first floor of 23 Gordon Square. The entrance to 23 Gordon Square is through the Department of History using the blue-green coloured external staircase. Take the external stairs to the top, turn right and enter through the door, then turn left and continue along the hallway till you reach a staircase. Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor, following signs to Room 204-206. At the top of the stairs turn right and go through the door labelled 'To Rooms 201-204'. Then take the stairs down to Rooms 101-102.

If you are coming from the direction of Torrington Place, walk through Malet Place to the open courtyard (the South Quad), walk past the Print Room Cafe, veer right and continue walking along the path till you see the Department of History in front of you (a cream coloured building with a blue-green coloured external staircase).

If you are coming from the direction of Euston Rd, walk along Gordon Street till you reach the Bloomsbury Theatre on your right. Turn right into the driveway beside the theatre. Continue to walk along the driveway as it curves to the left and you will see the Department of History on your left (a cream coloured building with a blue-green coloured external staircase).

Foster Court is located on Malet Place which runs at right angles to Torrington Place. With your back to Waterstone's Bookshop (on Torrington Place) Malet Place is opposite to the right of the Engineering building. Once on Malet Place, Foster Court is on you right, directly across from the DMS Watson Library and the Petrie Museum. (The Petrie Museum has a large banner outside of it). If you require use of the lift, please use the entrance under the arch of the building (not the arch over Malet Place) taking the 2nd door on the right.

Malet Place runs at right angles to Torrington Place opposite the Waterstone's bookshop. Once on Malet Place, the building is on your left, in between the Robert's Building (Old Engineering Building) and the DMS Watson Library and the Petrie Museum. (The Petrie Museum has a large banner outside of it). The building is glass-fronted, with sliding glass doors.

On entering the building, take the stairs on the right hand side to the 1st floor (the lifts in the foyer do not stop at the first floor).

If you are unable to use the stairs and require the lift, on entering the building, walk past the lifts on the left hand side and turn left down the short corridor. Go through the 1st door on the left hand side (G83), the lift in this stairwell will stop at the 1st floor.
