HR Operations are responsible for the administration of the UCL employment relationship for all staff below the professoriate excluding Post age 65 appointments and re-gradings, which are handled by HR Consultancy. This service includes

• production of employment contract letters
• adjustments to contracts of employment
• employment contract & policy advice
• managing the departmental and HR business relationship
• verifying and processing Form 6 (casual workers) payments
• payroll adjustments
• bank and mortgage references

In addition to the generic standards set out at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/hr/docs/hr_service_standards.php the service has the additional specific standard:

• Approved payroll changes received by the 1st of the month or the last preceding working day will be actioned during that month's payroll run.
