Senior Promotions Briefing
Professional Development Programme

Participants: UCL early and mid career academic, research and teaching fellow staff.

Overview:
HR and School Deans are running two Senior Promotions workshops that will explain the process and criteria, as well as seek to de-bunk any myths that may exist. The sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and will focus on promotion to Grades 9 and 10 for academic staff (Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor), research staff (Principal Research Associate / Fellow) and Teaching Fellows (Principal Teaching Fellow).

Members of the School Promotions Panels will facilitate these workshops and will be able to provide discipline specific advice.

Preparation: Information on the eligibility for promotion can be found here.

Facilitators: Members of the Schools Promotion Panels and HR Senior Promotions administration team.

Date, time and venue: 1.5 hour workshop.
