Senior Promotions Workshop
Professional Development Programme

Participants: UCL early and mid career academic, research and teaching fellow staff.

Overview:
UCL HR are running three Senior Promotions workshops that will explain the process and criteria, as well as seek to de-bunk any myths that may exist. The sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and will focus on promotion to Grades 9 and 10 for academic staff (Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor), research staff (Principal Research Associate / Fellow) and Teaching Fellows (Principal Teaching Fellow).

Each workshop will be dedicated to a specific School (BEAMS, SLASH, SLMS) and the Deans of the School will be in attendance to provide specific advice.

It is recommended that staff attend the workshop relevant to their discipline in order to gain the most benefit.

Preparation: Information on the eligibility for promotion can be found here.

Facilitators: Eileen Harvey (Senior HR Consultant), Members of the Schools Promotion Panel and HR Senior Promotions administration team.
