Senior Promotions Workshop
Professional Development Programme

Participants: UCL early and mid career academic, research and teaching fellow staff.

Overview:
Two workshops are being held, which will provide an overview of UCL’s 2017/18 Senior Academic Promotions process. This will include an overview of UCL’s new Academic Careers Framework, which will be used for the first time in this promotions round. The workshops, being led by Professor Anthony Smith (Vice-Provost Education and Student Affairs) and Professor Ivan Parkin (Dean of Maths and Physical Sciences) will offer an opportunity for participants to discuss potential applications in an informal and supportive environment. The sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and will focus on promotion to Grades 9 and 10 for academic staff (Associate Professor and Professor), research staff (Principal Research Fellow and Professorial Research Fellow) and teaching staff (Principal Teaching Fellow and Professorial Teaching Fellow).
