Welcome to the Human Resources web pages. The HR Division has both corporate and operational responsibilities covering the development and maintenance of employment policies, procedures and systems and the provision for a range of services to managers and individual members of staff. These services include recruitment, contract formation, remuneration, pensions, staff wellbeing and staff development.

Payroll Services is responsible for paying UCL employees and providing tax advice aswell as operating the GAYE, child care voucher, bicycle and voluntary benefit reward schemes.
Pension Services is responsible for the administration of UCL's 5 pension schemes; USS, SAUL, NHS, RFHPS and FPS aswell as providing pensions advice to staff and managers.
Responsible for administration of the employment relationship for staff below professoriate level including; employment contract letters, adjustments to contracts of employment, employment references, advice on policy and employment legislation.

Provides a professional advice and guidance service to managers and staff on employee relations, change management and non routine employment related issues including. work permits, probation, regradings and CRB checks.
Provides learning and development services for staff including; continuous professional development, team development, and leadership and management development. Also provides professional advice on change management and organisational design.
Occupational Health team provide a comprehensive occupational health service to assist University College London in promoting physical and psychological well being and prevent illness and injury arising from work activity.
Responsible for managing UCL's HR web site, producing statistical data, development and maintenance of HR information systems and their relationship with other core UCL systems and providing support to users of HR Systems.
Responsible for the development of and training on HR Administrative systems and processes, the placement of recruitment advertisements and booking of temporary agency staff
