Title: Conversations for the soul, facilitated by The Reverend Philippa A. Turner and The Reverend Jenny Welsh
Type of event: dialogue lunch
Staff and Students are invited to a simple lunch and opportunity to share and to hear stories of faith and religious practice, using the model taken from St. Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, "Conversations for the Soul". These conversations encourage trust and sensitivity, as well as listening and being listened to. They are an opportunity for students and staff of different faiths, or of none, to discuss and share their beliefs and traditions, and how they are lived out. They may also allow participants to explore their own faith in relation to others, enabling an increase in understanding of both and provide an opportunity to make deeper connections.
This event is open to all UCL staff, students and to the general public.
Date, Time and Venue:
Wednesday 29 February, 12:30-2pm, Meeting Room 1, Ground Floor, Rockefeller Building, 21 University Street, WC1E 6JJ
