UCL is a proud member of the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme and has recently gained entry in the Top 100 employers for gay, lesbian and bisexual staff. UCL has also been awarded the Pink Paper's 'Best University in the Country' on two occasions. Jeremy Bentham, the founder of UCL, was one of the earliest philosophers to argue for decriminalisation of homosexuality and equal rights for homosexuals and we hope that this egalitarian tradition continues to the present day. |
