From April 2008, UCL ceased to distribute paper payslips. Payslips from this point have instead been available on-line through the MyView application at www.ucl.ac.uk/myview

This has the following advantages:

• a cost effective and more environmentally friendly alternative to payslip distribution
• the ability to access your payslip sooner (around the 26th of each month)
• the availability to view/print historical payslips
• a more secure method of payslip delivery, as passwords and a second level of security are required

MyView - Employee Self Service allows employees of UCL to

• View their payslips and P60s online (although a Paper P60 will still be issued in May each year.)
  
• View their appraisal and probation history at UCL
• Edit their own personal details using online forms. This includes employees contact details, emergency contacts, next of kin or bank account details (if elected)
• Allow an employee to submit an electronic request for leave directly to their manager for approval*
  
  

MyView - Managers Access allows Managers to

• View appointment, post and costing details for employees that report to them
• Run a full set of management reports for the Department. This includes  reports on employees, funding, sickness, starters and leavers, cost analysis reports (as  authorised by the head of department)
• Electronically enter sickness returns directly into the system
• Enter the date that an employee's appraisal has been completed
• Electronically approve or reject holiday requests*
