Rest rooms for New and Expectant Mothers

UCL is legally required to provide somewhere for pregnant and breastfeeding employees to rest. You can search for a route to the buildings where the rest rooms are located using UCL Route Finder.

The rooms are:

Malet Place Engineering Building; room 716

Access to the Malet Place Engineering Building, is via card operated turnstile or via the staffed Reception in adjacent Roberts Building.

1-19 Torrington Place: The Fiona McLean quiet room, located on the ground floor near main reception at 1-19 Torrington Place. Sign in at reception when you want to use the room. Open between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday.

SSEES Building, 16 Taviton St; room 344 (Medical room) located on the third floor.
