Additional Industrial Action

I regret to advise you that the University and College Union (UCU), Unison and Unite have notified UCL that they have instructed their members to take strike action on 6th February for the whole day. In accordance with UCL’s previous practice, members of these unions who take strike action or staff who do not cross picket lines on that day will have their pay withheld for that day. This industrial action is in addition to the two hour strike that the UCU has called for on 10th February.
I further regret to advise that we are aware that the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) and Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) have called two 48‑hour Tube strikes. Transport for London has advised that talks are underway to avoid the strikes, but if they go ahead, they will start from

Staff members are asked to try to come in to work if practicable but, if not, to advise their Head of Department (or deputy or line manager) if they are unable to come in.
