Pre-Application Departmental Open Days

13:00 – 16:30

All prospective History applicants for 2015 and 2016 are welcome to attend this event, which is an ideal opportunity to visit the UCL History Department. You will have the opportunity to tour the campus with current students, listen to a presentation from the Admissions Tutor and experience a sample lecture from one of our academics. Current students and members of academic and admissions staff will also be available during the refreshment break to answer your questions.

Programme of the day:

13:00 Arrival (Gustave Tuck Lecture Theatre)

13:15 Welcome talk from the Head of Department, Prof. Stephen Conway

13:30 Student-led campus tours

14:15 Studying History at UCL talk by the Admissions Tutor, Dr John Sabapathy

14:50 Student life talk

15:15 Refreshments

16:00 Sample Lecture - Prof. Jason Peacey: 'The early modern world in a teacup: solving an archival mystery'

16:30 Finish
