History Courses Available to Students from Other Departments
The availability of places, which is expected to be very
limited, cannot be confirmed until the beginning of the academic year.
It is anticipated that most courses will not have any spaces available
for students who are not required to study History.
Any available places will be released on a first-come-first-served basis at a registration session during induction week at the following times:
- Affiliate students from other departments: Thursday 26 September, 2013 at 10.00 a.m. in room G04, 24 Gordon Square
- All other students from other departments: Thursday 26 September, 2013 at 11.00 a.m in room G04, 24 Gordon Square
Please note that you will need to attend the registration session in person. It is not sufficient to enter the course you wish to take on Portico.
If places are available, it is possible for students for whom History is not a requirement to
take a History course as an 'elective'.
First-year students may take full-year courses only; second- or final-year students may take either full-year or half-year courses.
HIST7401: History of Parliament and HIST7403: Medieval History in the London Collections are courses specifically designed for non-history students.
If you have any queries, please email history.office@ucl.ac.uk.
** Further details of any places available will be posted here by 9.00 a.m. on 26 September, 2013. **
