Professor Burk talks Wodehouse on BBC2
3 September 2011
Professor Kathleen Burk appeared as one of the expert contributors on the BBC2 Programme Wogan on Wodehouse on Friday 2 September, commenting on the background to the author's controversial wartime broadcasts from Germany.
In the programme Terry Wogan looked at the life of writer PG Wodehouse. In exploring the extraordinarily long career of his literary hero, Terry employed rarely seen archive material and was joined by Stephen Fry, Griff Rhys Jones, Joanna Lumley and a series of expert contributors in a documentary which addressed Wodehouse's longstanding appeal.
Wogan on Wodehouse will be repeated on BBC on Tuesday 6 September at 11.20 p.m. and is currently available on BBC iPlayer.
