Interdepartmental Options

Interdepartmental modules are simply modules taken in other departments at UCL. Students have the benefit of being able to take a huge array of modules in other UCL departments for credit.

Please note that interdepartmental options will need to be related to your chosen MA programme and approved by the Degree Tutor.

To find out which modules are available in other departments, please refer to their UCL webpages. Click through to see a list of ‘UCL Departments A-Z’. Select the name of the department you are interested in. You should be able to find a list of modules available in 2017/18. If you have any difficulties, you should contact the teaching department directly. Note that individual departments must prioritise their own students on modules, in the first instance, and there are no guaranteed places for students outside of the department.
