| I have interests in: the social history of popular protest, crime and prosecution in eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century England; twentieth-century British labour history, particularly the printing trades in the 1970s and 1980s; and history and computing. I teach courses on 'Crime and Popular Protest in Georgian England', 'Georgian London: Economy, Society and Politics', 'Marx and History' and 'Concepts, Categories and the Practice of History'. |
