My main area of interest is manuscript books, including the examination of manuscripts as physical objects and witnesses to the society which produced and transmitted them, the study of their textual and artistic contents, and interpretations regarding their cultural role and impact. I have worked on late medieval French and Italian aristocratic libraries, and on fifteenth-century French genealogical chronicles. I am also interested in thirteenth-century French, English and Italian History. |
