Liquid History Walk
On Thursday, 27th September 2012, students and staff from the History of Medicine Unit at UCL were taken on a ‘Liquid History’ walk by Dr Richard Barnett, one of the Wellcome Trust's Engagement Fellows.
Starting at Argyle Square and ending at the Black
Friars pub, the walk followed the hidden course of one of London’s
vanished rivers,
the Fleet, picking up stories along the way about London's
disease-ridden past...
