Hebrew & Jewish Studies

UCL graduates

Alumni of the Department have followed a wide range of careers. They include civil servants, policy advisers, researchers, librarians, journalists, lawyers, accountants, financial managers, teachers, rabbis, and Jewish communal leaders. Several are distinguished academics, in or around the field of Hebrew and Jewish Studies.

Our alumni are life-long members of our community. We keep in touch through regular newsletters, and invite all alumni to our annual events and parties.

We encourage alumni to help the Department by writing articles for the newsletter, contributing donations, and by personally representing the Department and its success within the wider, international community.

Please visit our newsletter archive for more.

Your department needs you

We want to make sure that our students have the best possible educational experience and are eager to maintain and enhance our reputation for research excellence.

We have expert staff delivering world-leading teaching and conducting cutting edge research, but they need to have the best resources available to them.

You can help to provide this by making a gift to your department. Your generosity will provide us with a source of income which can be used to respond to needs and opportunities as and when they arise.

From supporting student scholarships to investing in new facilities, 100% of your gift will be directed to areas of the greatest importance within the department.
