IHI researcher is awarded AHA Institutional Data Fellowship 

We are delighted to report that the application to the American Heart Association Institutional Data Fellowship programme (https://professional.heart.org/idc/groups/ahamah-public/@wcm/@sop/@rsch/documents/downloadable/ucm_492227.pdf) was successful and will support Dr Ghazaleh Fatemifar for two years on her work which will focus on using unsupervised machine learning approaches to discover disease subtypes for Heart failure in CALIBER, UK Biobank and HERMES datasets. Effective subtyping may enable prognostic models of greater precision and lead to the discovery of new causal determinants. Ghazaleh will be supported by Spiros Denaxas, Tom Lumbers and Dan Swerdlow.
