Cancer

In the cancer workstream, the Farr Institute, London is working with the UCLPartners Cancer Programme, whose aim is to improve quality of care, patient experience and outcomes.

Part of the shared vision is the development of an integrated cancer system in the UK.

The aim is to provide a rich source of outcomes-based research on large cohorts of cancer patients whose tumours will be well characterised for molecular phenotype clinical risk factors and treatment received. This will facilitate their participation in relevant clinical trials and underpin population impact research and innovation in cancer treatments.
