Dr Lucy Chambers
Research Associate in Health Psychology
RESEARCH
Current research
I am working on a MRC funded project, under the guidance of Professor Jane Wardle, Dr Lucy Cooke and Helen Croker, investigating the impact of reward on children's
healthy eating behaviour.
Previous research
My PhD research was concerned with individual differences in appetite control. The objective of this research was to psychometrically identify adults who were
likely to overeat, and to examine behaviours and gastrointestinal signals associated with this eating style.
My PhD research was sandwiched between two BBSRC funded positions as research assistant and research fellow, both investigating the role of learning in flavour
preferences.
