This academic year UCL is running an innovation programme to draw on the knowledge of academics across the university to solve environmental problems. The concept of the programme is to generate, through innovation, responses to UCL’s environmental sustainability targets and objectives.

A full description of the programme is given in the Green Innovation UCL programme description (Word doc).

Participants from across UCL’s academic disciplines will be brought together to solve the challenges through two face-to-face forums and an online discussion forum. They will build teams across the university encouraging cross-disciplinary interactions and work together to formulate potential solutions to the challenges.

The programme will run online through Moodle (email greenucl@ucl.ac.uk for access) and at workshops.

Programme dates:

  • November 7th 2-5pm, SSEES 16 Taviton Street room 432
  • From January 2013 onwards the Energy and Waste teams will meet to discuss these topics and develop their ideas. It's not too late to join a team, if you're interested in taking part email greenucl@ucl.ac.uk.
