The Refill Revolution @ Rockefeller and Paul O'Gorman

The Cancer Institute asked SustainableUCL about reducing single-use bottled water usage at two UCL buildings. It was suggested that international students may not be aware that you can drink tap water.

We decided to install drinking water stickers on sinks and fountains in communal areas. A survey showed that there was a 23% decrease in overall bottle sales after the stickers were implemented! Specifically plastic water bottle sales decreased by 38.9%!
