"Cycling, walking or driving – what are the risks and benefits?" by Jenny Mindell (UCL Epidemiology & Public Health)

4 December 2012

The next Environmental Sustainability Topic Lunch will take place on January 28th 1-2pm in Room B404 - LT2 of UCL’s Cruciform Building:

"Cycling, walking or driving – what are the risks and benefits?"

Jenny Mindell (UCL Epidemiology & Public Health)

Cyclists killed on the roads make the headlines but is cycling really that dangerous?  How does it compare with other risks we take, such as turning off a motorway onto a local road? What are the risks of driving? And what about the risks we impose on others when we travel? This presentation will address these questions, using data from England.

This presentation is part of the Environmental Sustainability Topic Lunch Series run by Green UCL.

If you would like to book a place, please use the Eventbrite page.
