Access

access-1

We want everything we do to be accessible to all our graduands and guests. It is therefore essential that you take the time to read this information and inform us as soon as possible of any particular requirements you or your guests may have.

Seating

The majority of seats in both Bedford Square and the Royal Festival Hall require the use of stairs. Graduands will also use stairs to access the stage at both venues. If you or any of your guests will be attending in a wheelchair or have limited mobility, making the use of stairs difficult, you need to indicate this in your application when you apply. If your situation changes please advise us as soon as possible.

For details about the graduation ceremony venues please refer to our Venue page.

Travel and Parking

UCL and Bedford Square

There is no parking, disabled or otherwise, at UCL; however there are a number of car parks nearby. Please refer to the NCP website for more information. Please note that as Camden council operates their own disabled parking scheme which means standard Blue Badges are not recognised. Further information can be found on the London Borough of Camden website.

Royal Festival Hall

For the ceremonies on 4 July, the Southbank Centre operates two car parks which are available to users of the venue. A limited number of free spaces are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis to patrons who have a Blue Badge. For further details about parking at the Southbank Centre please refer to the Southbank Centre website.

If you require further advice and assistance on a particular access issue, please contact the Graduation Ceremonies team on 0207 679 1383/3568, or email grad_ceremonies@ucl.ac.uk.
