Santander opens branch on UCL soil
15 October 2012

UCL students don’t have to go far to talk about their banking. Santander is opening up a permanent branch on campus.
To celebrate the opening of the branch, Santander will be serving FREE bacon sandwiches (healthy choice available) in the Front Quad on 25 and 26 October from 9.00 to 13.00.
At the branch, which is located next to the UCL Shop, students are able to open any type of account from the Santander product range, including student and graduate current accounts, credit cards, savings and investments. An advisor is also on hand to answer any banking-related questions.
It is a non-cash branch, meaning that customers cannot pay cash into their accounts, but there is an ATM and students can pay in cheques.
The branch is open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and on Wednesdays from 10am to 5pm.
At Santander, students have access to special student banking deals as well as financial advice. International students can too take advantage of banking with Santander. Find out more about Santander's student offers.
UCL is also a partner of the Santander Universities Global Division. The partnership provides UCL students and staff with numerous benefits and opportunities which range from study abroad experiences to awards for non-academic achievement. Find out more at UCL Global.
