Welcome to the inaugural UCL NU Summer School. Students from Nazarbayev University's School of Engineering are attending a four-week summer school at UCL focusing on the development of their skills in business and enterprise as well as problem solving and English language.

The programme offers an exciting academic and cultural experience and forms part of UCL's long-term partnership with Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan.

Programme and resources

UCL NU Summer School Handbook

The UCL NU Summer School presents a unique opportunity for Nazarbayev University students to undertake academic study at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. During the summer school, students will undertake an integrated and challenging programme that combines:

  • A progressive course in business and enterprise
  • Problem solving in a technical context
  • Integrated academic English language tuition
  • Guided visits to provide a cultural experience.

Students will be provided with a printed copy of the UCL NU Summer School 2013 Handbook. The handbook provides detailed information on the programme.

The course aims to introduce students to the fundamental tools and frameworks around business and management through intensive research.
