From the 6th to the 8th February 2013, UCL Institute for Global Health
hosted an international conference to explore the linkages between
‘sustainable health, agriculture and resilient ecosystems’
During
the first two days, 30 workshop participants from 6 different countries developed a research
project which aims to improve the nutrition and well-being of women and
children in poor rural communities, and to enhance local resilience to
climate change and environmental degradation.
On the third day of the event was a one day open symposium entitled Global Food Security: Creating resilience in the face of catastrophic climate change
