The UCLU German Society is proud to present Friedrich Dürrenmatt's beloved tragicomedy "Der Besuch der alten Dame".
Watch as Claire Zachanassian's visit to her home town unfolds on stage and her demand for justice rips the town apart.
This is a fantastically funny play with a dark twist, made even more relevant to today by recent economic events. The performance will be held in German, but for those of you whose German is a little rusty, we will be providing a plot summary in the programme in English, and a few of the scenes will be performed in English, so don’t let the language put you off.
