G23 Instruments

G23 Instruments is a company formed to produce high quality scientific equipment, primarily for the electrophysiologist. The company works closely with active research staff within the Research Department of Neuroscience. Physiology & Pharmacology at University College London and its novel equipment and designs are thoroughly tested under rigorous research conditions.

We market micro-electrode holders for Axon Instruments headstages and HEKA patch clamp amplifiers, and fixed height platforms. Our micro-electrode holders have been recommended by both Axon and Burleigh Instruments for long term recording and stability.

In September 2009 we introduced new versions of our electrode holders. These include the new ISO range and a new B-series adapter allowing any electrode holder to be used with head stages that require a BNC input (e.g. the HEKA headstages) without using a soldered connection.

We are also offering a design and development service. You may have thoughts about your research which requires prototype equipment. Your own in house facilities may be somewhat over stretched or nonexistent. We are now in a position to offer this service and G23 Instruments are willing to assist with your requirements. We have CADCAM facilities and modern CNC machinery. We also have links with industries providing processes and techniques that are probably beyond the scope of any experimental workshop.

For this service, ONLY, please contact via e-mail david.osborne15@btopenworld.com
